Emery board

Function:
shape and smooth nails
Usage Tips:
Hold emery board at a slight angle to the nail and file from side to centre, first on one side, then on the other. To help prevent nail splitting, do not 'saw' back and forth

Nail Buffers
Function:
smooth, buffer, polish nails, bring out their natural shines
Usage tips of 3 step buffer:
a) 3-step buffing process works to create a smoother nail surface.
b) Removes stains and ridges.
c) Gives nails a natural shine without cream or polish.
Directions:
1.Gently stroke Pink Buffer across nail to remove ridges and stains. Don't try to completely remove deep ridges with this first step.
2.Stoke White Buffer across nail to produce a satin-smooth surface.
3.Now, create a brilliant shine with Grey Buffer using light, quick strokes across nail. To prolong the shine, buff as often as you like with all-grey side. Pink and White buffing should be limited to once every two weeks.

Tweezers
Function:
tweeze away unwanted hairs
How to Use Tweezers:
Tweeze in the direction of hair growth. Tweeze after a hot shower or use a hot washcloth to open pores. For ingrown hairs, cleanse skin and disinfect the tip of the tweezer with alcohol. After any work under the skin, clean area with hydrogen peroxide before and after.
Caution:
Spring tension can be increased by gently pulling the two halves of the tweezer apart. Once you have increased the spring, you cannot decrease it. Do not drop tweezers. This can damage the tip and throw tweezers out the alignment.

Nail Clippers
Function:
shape and trim nails
Usage Directions:
a) Before trimming, soak nails in warm water to soften and to help prevent cracking and breaking.
b) Trim from each side of the nail toward the centre.
c) use foldaway file to even out the rough edges and to gently clean under nails.
d) Do not cut below the nail bed as this may cause discomfort (leave at least a thin line of white nail).

Scissors
Function:
shape and trim nails
Usage Tips:
Ideally, nails should be cut when wet for smoother edges. Nails should be cut into an oval shape and should extend slightly beyond fingertips to protect this sensitive area

Toe Separators
Function:
separate finger or toes for manicure / pedicure or applying cosmetics
Soft, foam shape comfortably separates toes for easy application of polish.
One separator for each foot.
Directions:
Slip toes between the foam wedges to separate. Apply polish and allow to dry before removing.

Nail Pliers
Function:
remove rough cuticle and hard skins
Usage Tips:
Soak fingertips in warm, sudsy water to render cuticles soft and pliable. Push cuticle back into a square shape with the blunt end of a manicure stick. Cut the dead cuticle area, being very careful not to damage healthy cuticle area. To avoid your Cuticle Nipper from rusting, keep lightly oiled and in a dry place.

Curticle Pushers & Trimmers
Function:
push back cuticle or clean under nails ; to clean and trim cuticles
Cuticle trimmer:
Rust-proof stainless steel tip gently pushes back cuticles for a well-groomed look.
Trims ragged cuticles and unsightly hangnails.
Usage Tips:
Push cuticles back with slanted end.
Glide metal "V" end (with prongs facing up) along cuticle edge

Cuticle pusher:
To push back cuticle or clean under nail

Usage Tips:
Use either end to push back cuticle or clean under nail. Square edge is thin enough to get into the corner. Nail glue will not damage tool. Care: Clean after each use.

Nail Brushes
Function:
sweep away dirts from nails
Direction:
1. Soak feet in warm, soapy water or use in bath or shower.
2. Use the brush to scrub nails, cuticles, and in between toes.

Metal files
Function:
clean and push back cuticle , and shape harder nails
Directions:
a) Start with dry nails to help prevent nails from peeling.
b) File nails at 45° angle against underside of nail edge to help maintain a strong nail tip.
c) Always start at the side of the nail and file toward the middle. Do not saw back and forth.

Manicure Sticks
Function:
groom cuticles and clean nails.
Usage Tips:
a) To clean nails, gently glide slanted tip underneath nails.
b) To push cuticles back, press slanted tip against cuticle edge. (For best results soften cuticles first with Revlon Cuticle Massage Cream or Cuticle Remover.)
c) To remove nail enamel mistakes, wrap a small piece of cotton around slanted tip of stick. Dip in nail enamel remover. Rub off excess nail enamel around nails and cuticles.
d) For Pushing Back Cuticle and Cleaning.

Foot Smoothing Files
Function:
remove hard skin, soften textures.
For gentle and lasting pedicures.
